The owners had just bought this house with a very overgrown garden. They were on a limited budget so it was going to be necessary to work within the existing structure of the space, using carefully-selected hard-landscaping interventions and changes to the planting to transform the feel, look, and function of the garden without the need for major works.
The result is a peaceful place to relax in the dappled light of the surrounding trees while the woodland-edge planting combines evergreen structure with flowers from early spring until late autumn.
